The zoo is a wildlife conservation center dedicated to the breeding, rescue, and release of native animals in the region. It is the only breeding center in the state of Monagas.
El zoológico es un centro de conservación de vida silvestre dedicado a la cría, el rescate y la liberación de animales nativos de la región. Es el único centro de crianza en el estado de Monagas.
Education / Educaciòn
Visitors can see and learn about local native animals of Venezuela at the zoo. How to care, protect and respecting nature.
Los visitantes pueden observar y aprender sobre la fauna autóctona de Venezuela en el zoológico. Cómo cuidar, proteger y respetar la naturaleza.
Recreation / Recreaciòn
Animania Zoo is one of Caripe’s main tourist attractions. It is the first and only zoo in the area.
El Zoológico Animania es uno de los principales atractivos turísticos de Caripe. Es el primer y único zoológico de la zona.

The zoo is a home to variety of species, including birds, mammals, and reptiles. From adorable hedgehog to scary big snakes, you will find them at the zoo.
El zoológico alberga una gran variedad de especies, incluyendo aves, mamíferos y reptiles. Desde adorables erizos hasta temibles serpientes gigantes, los encontrarás en el zoológico.
How do I get to the zoo / ¿Cómo llego al zoológico?
From downtown Caripe’s city center, go north around 10 km.
Desde el centro de la ciudad de Caripe, diríjase hacia el norte unos 10 km.

Currently the zoo does not have food and refreshment, but we are planning to add some in the near future.
